Filipina reaches semis in Paralympics
A Bicolano has reached the semi-finals in table tennis in the ongoing Paralympics in London.
Josephine Medina outplayed Norweigan Aida Dahlen in table tennis and won 3 sets to 1.
The 42-year-old athlete will next play against French Thu Kamka-Somphou.
Medina, who has a leg shorter than the other, is assured of a medal if she beats top-seed Thu.
Medina lost to China 's second-seed Mao Jing Dian in 3 sets in an earlier round, but recovered in the next round against Brazil 's Jane Rodriguez
