So you got a good deal. I have bought and sold hundreds of things on ebay and for 99% of the time it has been great. I even bought the wife's Life in the UK test books on ebay.

just have to watch out sometimes, people seem to bid silly prices, i try to think of a price i would want to pay then put that bid on, if i get it for less then thats great but if i get it for the price i wanted thats good too

I used to use an auction tool that bid on my behalf during the last 30 seconds of the auction. Worked well and stopped my bid from driving the price up. Also effectively prevented the opposition from bidding again after my bid.

    Like Auction Sniper.

Also got some good prices on some generic mobile / smart phones and some generic MP3 players.

sorry to confused you. I recently bought a photography magazine in tesco (digital photography) and they have got a promo that if you get subscription for a certain number of months you get the free tripod. first 6 months is £5 months then £22 for another 6 months.
