Security vendor Kaspersky Lab said in its June 2012 spam report showed the Philippines was a top source of spam mail that hit the United States and Europe in that month.

I think they just only using Philippines as the source of internet but it's not a filipino's who's doing it. Take a look at this:

That's a fair point Rhose. I'll give you that.
Unfortunately it's not yet possible to know the true nationality (one way or another) of those who are doing it from Philippines.

The story is about the country origin of the spam.
From my own experience it's quite true.
