Back in the old days.......no-one knows for sure how long ago, dogs used to pee on trees by just standing there.
One day however, one dog - his name Rover perhaps, he was peeing, and the tree fell on him.
Ever since then, in honour of Rover, dogs raise a leg to the tree to stop it toppling over, just in case!
