buying your lot

when buying a lot in the phils, are there differant laws and cost in what areas you buy, once you have found the lot what cost are involved other then the price of the lot, also i did notice in panglao when there was any sort of building work being done, there was a sign outside with contact numbers and all looked very important, what is this,also the bigger the build is it the bigger the hidden cost

well as for what i know bout buying lot.. there is no hidden cost.. all should be included with the Total Cost... and areas are also considered if th elocation is nearby hospital, school, market , malls etc.. i bet the price is a bit higher than the other location that is far from those i mentioned earlier....
