JUST A THOUGHT: Why FLR(M) takes eternity....

I was reading threads about FLR(M) taking too long to be processed particularly when applied by post...
Is it not because we could have opted for quick-processing which costs a fortune?
UKBA,UKBA I am dreading to hear from you...
UKBA, a BRP for Christmas will do...

Dunno but what I know at the moment you ca'nt even get an appointment to submit it in person. When we rang the UKBA about the processing, they said they don't know as they have lots of back logs at the moment.

no, one of the main reasons its taking longer is because of job cuts at UKBA

Or maybe they are struggling to catch up with visa processing because of the many tourists coming for the Olympic games?

    I'll agree with that

Maybe a good idea is to try other offices..I know when we got same day service for my wife's ilr...we tried both Croydon and Cardiff..Cardiff at the time offered us an appointment 4 weeks earlier.

When I called UKBA yesterday 08706067766, a recorded message (during the wait for someone to answer) was telling that appointment for applications via PEO is currently fully booked and they were advising to send applications via post..
