Ever watched a TV programme called 'Grand Designs' ?
Someone actually built a huge house based on containers and other scrap/recycled items. Very good.
love watching that program some great ideas, any program like those we both watch, i still think about buying your plot and sticking a couple of containers on there and inbetween them thats where the lounge will be stick a roof over both and lots of big open doors and windows, a big deck coming out over looking the mountains or sea, and 1 container would be the kitchen and bathroom and the other would be a bedroom plus safe room, lots of ideas and who knows you have to start somewhere
Some are nearly beautiful, most look remarkably like containers, but maybe some embryonic ideas

There's even one in the Mojave Desert. Now that's a hot place. Could be interesting to see how they managed with ventilation.

The basic 'outside' frame is bolted steel joists.
Everything made from reclaimed/recycled materials. Including the windows and lift.
i understand people saying they will be to hot to live in, but i want a lot of outside living , so i really do think there are ways of building something out in the phils, i may take fred up on his long term lease of some land and stick 1 on there and see what happens
