    Cool Celebrate...

    It's not really a CELEBRATION...

But when you stay at home or walk from home to Hebden Bridge just to chase away boredom and you see some opportunities to go out and meet some new people, that's a BIG CELEBRATION!

Anyway, I registered to attend University of Huddersfield's Open Day on Saturday... Might be a good time to plan for the future... to keep my frozen brain busy...

I hope my immigration status allows me to do this...
UKBA,UKBA I am dreading to hear from you...
UKBA, a BRP for Christmas will do...

Why not use this time you have as an opportunity to study and pass the Life in UK Test?

You may well find that once you are working you struggle with time and motivation to study.

    Thank you...
I've gone out, rode on a bus (including double decker),rode on a train and luckily was never lost once... I made a mistake once though... I was supposed to get off the bus stop near Hebden Bridge Train Station but I pressed the bell quite early and didn't realize there was a bus stop in the middle of the jungle... The driver asked if i was sure I wanted to get off there (the wrong bus stop) Because I did not want embarrass myself, I said "Yeah, my car is parked on the other side." Hahaha!

The first two-three months were tolerable since I pretty much explored but these days (would be six months since I came here) I find the routine redundant... I am currently doing a voluntary job in RSPCA (16 hours a week) BUT a forum member once quoted from UKBA that once you are on a fiancee visa you are NOT allowed to seek EMPLOYMENT (paid or unpaid). Much more with the part time job(which is clearly illegal as far as my visa restrictions are concerned)

Hebden Bridge. I took my wife there a couple of months ago, just after the flooding. We called into the soap shop there and bought some of the fancy soaps there.

I like Hebden Bridge we drop by there on our way to Bradford.
We went in a pub sat outside facing the river with our drinks. Heaven as the weather was absolutely brilliant at that time.

I used to volunteer in RSPCA in HB.. It hasn't re-opened yet, which is devastating for most businesses affected...

When we went, back in May, there were sand bags everywhere still and many places were still closed after the flooding.
