Duo jailed for smuggling fake passports in joints of meat

On 12 September 2 men were sentenced to a total of 13 years in prison for facilitating the illegal entry of migrants into the UK. The pair used genuine foreign ID cards, passports, driving licences and bank statements, which they smuggled into the UK in packages of meat.
