Rio Ferdinand was banned from driving yesterday after he was nicked for speeding THREE times in five weeks on the same road.

The Manchester United ace’s £90,000 Jaguar XJ was snapped zooming through a 30mph zone as he drove to and from training.

England star Rio, 33, tried to beat a ban by pleading he needed his licence to take his two sons to school.

But the argument was rejected by Trafford magistrates in Greater Manchester and he was hit with a six-month ban.
