    Question about Minimum Wage Requirement

Hello everyone. I would like to ask regarding the minimum wage requirement because my husband's annual salary is just £17,643.60 but he had overtime pay. His P60 2012 states that his salary is £27,000.00. Is his overtime pay can be added to his basic salary to reach the required £18,600? Please anyone who could help me regarding this matter. Thanks

Yes, overtime is counted, it's in the guidance notes. Especially since he can provide his P60 to give an overall annual sum

    Rizza,

Yes, his overtime pay is allowed.

    Here's what UKBA state:-
Overtime, commission-based pay and bonuses will be counted as earnings from salaried employment
The standard income requirement is to supply 6 months payslips and corresponding bank statements. UKBA will base their review on the lowest of those 6 months payslips.
The payslips will reflect gross income, which will include ovetime payments.

By the way that 2011/2012 P60 is already out of date for the standard requirement.

They will have nightmares looking at my payslip.
It shows net pay, gross pay, taxable pay,non taxable pay. Its crazy. It will drive them mad.
I have never seen so many figures on a payslip like the NHS.

Thank you very much Terpe and Iani. I'm really glad that I found this site. I just got married last 8th of August 2012 and I'm now preparing the documents for my application. This forum can help me a lot in my application.

Rizza, just at this time you cannot change your profile as you still have restricted access. When you have exceeded 15 posts that restriction will be lifted.
