    Tourist Visa

Hi everyone! Almost didnt recognize the site, nice layouts and that...its been quite a while since my last post...and i'm still thankful for the quick replies i got then and i hoping i'll get the same with my new query.

I filed for an annulment ages ago...still not annuled at the mo lol

I'm getting very frustrated about it...starting to loose my patience as well.

I'm re-considering getting a tourist visa for now...coz i just really want to visit my fiance's family...and they all want to meet me as well coz its been 4 yrs now since i first met my fiance.

I just want to ask...if it will be wise if i'll tell the embassy people about my current annulment? tell them the whole truth...if they asked me who are these people inviting me to the UK...like tell them that they are my fiance family and they want to meet me while im still healthy enough....(got a medical condition 'kidney transplant")

Will a medical certificate from my doctor saying that i need to be back in the Philippines after 3months for my checkup...a valid reason ... a reason to go bk to the Philippines?

I got two little businesses....a computer shop and supplier of general merchandise in our province Batanes... will that be enough as proof for financial earnings?

Also got a joint account with the fiance... can i tell them about it?

Im really hoping for ur non-tiring help.... thanks in advance.

    Mavid,
I think your business may convince the consul that you will comeback to Pinas. I had my Computer Shop before and presented all my docs to Dutch Embassy and they gave me visit visa for 2 two times. I had my DTI Business Permit, Municipal Permit, Bank Statement for 6 months, 2 Land Titles and a letter of Sponsorship.
Getting Annulment in the Philippines is too hard to get, it takes time, and cost money a lot. So be patient. You can visit your local PAO (Public Atty's Office) in your place so you can get free legal advice on your annulment case.
    Cheer up!

I was sponsored by my friend Cynthia who is married to a Dutch. I applied Spouse visa in the UK and was refused that time and we made appeal. While waiting for the result, I applied visit in UK embassy and was denied because I had my pending appeal to be heard in London Home Office. So, luckily I got visa in Holland and me and hubby met in Holland twice. My Mom in Law also invited me and wanted to sponsor me in the UK but I refused since we don't meet yet personally, it maybe questionable.
Yes I forgot to tell you I had my ITR tax Return and Book Flight which was free when I won in a raffle. I had 10 PC's, 1 xerox machine, and fax machine but sold it a week before my flight.

Mavid, telling the truth to the ECO is always a right move.

Show all the evidences you mentioned above, some good explanation about your annulment and support from your fiance, you never know they might grant you a visa.

    Goodluck

Hi LadyJ, thanks for that... kept my spirits high... and it was a happy coincidence that i bump into Beth18's post here in the forum which is very similar to mine as she's also waiting for her annulment.

Like what u said, all she did was be honest..and prepare the documents.

It's definitely giving me more courage to try it and not be scared.

    Thanks a lot

    Mavid

    Hi Sfgvr,

I filed my annulment 2 yrs ago, i had some problems regarding the judge in our area so i had to refile it somewhere... but at the end, i had to go bk to where i originally filed it...didnt mean to confuse u hehe! But thats one reason why its taking this long i guess, I already had my pre-trial hearing last May...then another hearing is set this Sept & Oct.

Yes thats one of my question, if to tell them...but one member here...told the embassy that she currently in the process of annulment, so she gave them a certification from her attorney, she was granted a visit visa, her name is Beth18.

I want to get a Tourist Visa for the sole purpose to visiting the family and the country...not a medical thing.

U were granted a tourist visa too right? about the documents from the sponsor... my fiance's mom plans to be my sponsor... does the documents need to be originals especially the deed of property? they are bit weary bout it being original...

    Hi Sfgvr,

My lawyer is bit crap really, how much did u pay for urs? Mine's uncontested, no properties, no children and no support asked by the petitioner...and its still taking ages... im set for 3 more hearings this coming sept & oct.

If its not too much to ask, and if u have time... can u give me like a step by step account of that u did? coz its obvious that what u did was right...coz u were granted a visit visa.

There are info's ur giving me, that i never heard b4.. considering ive been reading & researching for the last 4 years.

    Thanks so much
