    visiting visas

while we wait for other aspects of our lives to click into place---my lady would like to return to the UK from the philis for a visit.

ive read lots of advice on here how to apply for a tourist visa--like convincing the UKBA she will go back--she has a family and a home there.

is it best not to mention me?--on a tourist visa application?--or would she be better applying for a family visa--she has a sister here--living near me--who is married to a british guy.

my lady was here on a student visa for several years--and returned to the philis when it expired a few weeks back.

Probably would be better to down the tourist visa route and accidentally omit the family connections in the application, as they will increase the likelihood of her not leaving the UK.
