guys why there some people telling me no need to xchange my fiance cni to local cni here in the philippines,,is the cni is requirements to file for spouse visa?pls help if we not change his cni from uk to local one do we have some problem?

Hi Joannet.
If you are getting married in the Philippines your fiance needs to obtain local CNI (certificate of legal capacity) from the British Embassy. It's quite a simple process and your Fiance can arrange an appointment by email before he arrives. It's all sorted on the same day.

I have heard of this before but would not recommend it, as it could cause difficulties further down the line. Do things the right way to avoid headaches in the future
