It makes life easier for them I suppose. I remember the company accountant running it by me at the time. I think if I had protested a little he may have istigated some pay at the end of that month. But I didnt.Originally Posted by stevewool
Many companies start to put the wheels in motion for the end of the month, in the middle of the month, hence another reason why 5 or 6 weeks worth of pay at the end of the following month might occur.
A few years back a lot of my pay was in the form of daily bonuses and if we hadn't put our bonus claim form in by the middle of the month then we would have to wait till the end of the following month.
In other words, it depends on how the accountants are working things.
