just watched this program, a place in florida, a couple who had £80000 to buy a place out there, it was filmed this year in feb, and the dollar rate was 1.59 to the pound, well what fantastic properties, just amazing, 5 properties there where 3 condos and 2 houses, well they ended up buying the first place they saw for £66000, a 3 bedroom condo, just amazing, i would be happy with that, but also there was this 3 bedroom house for £60000, thats what i would have gone for,makes you think dont it

have to be rich to live in florida, still have my timeshare there so i can holiday for 2 weeks each year if i want
Remember that the properties are timber framed, not like your typical UK property.
It's not always going to be a bargain, and Florida is a big state to end up in s property a long way from anything interesting.
That being said, when I was based out there for the early part of last year quite a few of our crew and officers were using their bonuses/tips to buy up holiday homes.
anywhere is nice to live if its sunny and life is good, but living there permanent does cost, years ago we had a place in france and that was our retirement home and loved the place, but time moves on and so did the ex, today i have to think where could i afford to live and anywhere in europe or america does cost and i know i could not afford it so wheres the next place, the phils, cheap to live compared to the other places , the cost of living i mean, so up to now, its nice to look everywhere, but still bohol is the top of the list
