Not sure if there is any criteria Andy. I don't know much about this but am just guessing. I was talking to our plumber just a few days ago who's wife is Thai and they have 2 kids between them. She and they only moved here in the last couple of years. Basically it seems to be a formality. His 3 year old has a health visitor who seems to be focussing on the kids route into schooling (when the time comes) and so he is getting help anyway.Originally Posted by andy222

I presume that the child in question / your children would just have to qualify by being within the catchment.
Are you concerned about the "no recourse to public funds" thing etc while your wife is on a Spouse visa? If so then that's an interesting question.
