    sending your documents, passport and so on

    right everything is in the envelop ready to post to Durham for the ILR, right we are going the postal route, do we have to put in a return of address envelop inside and with a stamp on, it says that if you want a special return you have to enclosed this. but it says all documents will be sent back by recorded delivery back to us, so i have read this as they do that not us,

    What we did was include a prepaid Royal Mail Special Delivery envelope (the silver one) along with the application and documents. I'm not sure though if they're gonna use that or one of their own as I haven't got my documents back yet (almost 7 months of waiting!)

    7 MONTHS wow thats a long time, have you got in touch with them about the delay

    Yeah, contacted my local MP, and then he sent a letter to the UKBA following up my application on 2nd October. But they haven't got any reply yet from UKBA. So I filed a complaint thru UKBA website about the delay. Waiting for what would happen or wouldn't happen next!
