Me and my my wife are waiting for visa.We applied 9 of august 2012.We recived email from Entry Clearance Officer in Manila on 10 of october'12.They ask us to provide document from my work about my salary,status,how long I work there,etc,etc I request that letter from my work and get it last tuesday-16 oct'12,the same day I send it by email (I scanned that letter),by fax and by post-DHL.I recived Yesturday and today-18 oct'12 two confirmation emails from VFS in Manila that they recived my email and fax and forwarded to Entry Clearance Officer...so we're waiting now for any news,we pray for good news,because we miss each other so much!
I would like to say thank You to all who make effort and post all this information about visas,emigration,passports,etc,etc.great job all of You!

Hello everyone
I just want to update about my wife visa application.We provided all needed documents to support our visa,but ECO ask us to provide letter from my work,I did sent them that letter,we recived confirmation email from Manila that 'theyve got my document and forwarded to ECO.That was last monday-22 oct'12 so now we're waiting for email or any message about our visa.We applied on 9 august 2012 so its 11 weeks now.
I wonder if ECO can ask us agin to provide some documents or He'll make decision now? I reckon if ECO wants more documents from us,He will us ask to produce more documents together with letter from my work..well...thats my "reckon",but Im sure that they can do everything what they need to do

I've notice that the ECO's are providing a reasonable customer service and asking folks to supply missing documents.
No offence intended here, but why didn't you submit that document with the application?

We did submit letter from my work,but that letter didnt say about my salary and it was dated:01 march 2012 so maybe too old?I think that is why ECO ask us for another letter from my work,this time we provide with all details.

Yesterday we recived email from embasy:
"Your visa will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 days. Applicants in Australia and New Zealand should allow 3 days before tracking their documents via the local post. UKBA-Manila Visa Hub"
Today we recived two emails from VAC-Visa Application Centre where we submit our documents.
first email:
"A decision on your Visa application reference number: AMANxxxxx/xxxx/1 has been made by the British Embassy. Your application has been received at the UK Visa Application Centre and is ready for collection.Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email."
and second:
"Your processed visa application reference no. AMAN/xxxxxx/xxxx/1 dispatched to you via Courier on 10/30/2012 Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email."
We're excited,but will celebrate when we see visa in my wife passport

Before I update info about my wife visa,I'd like to say THANK YOU to everyone for congratulations
After reciving email from Visa Application Centre ( with information that they dispatched documents to my wife via Courier on 10/30/2012 ),my wife recived yesterday (31 oct '12) text from courier-WWWExpress that it take few days (can take up to 7 days even) for them to deliver our documents,because my wife is living in Mindanao-Pantukan region,and today and tomorrow is holiday so we hope that we'll recive our documents next week.
Thats my update about my wife visa
Im writing all this,because I hope that it will help someone as I get all help from reading informations from others.
