Yes it is a fine 500 peso for every month you overstay payable on the 7 month. I cant remember exactly what i used to pay, i might have paper work some where, but a bit out of date as about 3 years old. But what you paid sounds about right as i think i used to pay more than that at bureau of immigration in manila. I will see if i can find old paper work out 1 day.
