    Celebration

    As of last thursday I no longer have to pay the ex wife any spousal maintenance. Yeeha.

    Congrats, that's effectively a nice pay rise to spend on the new family. Certainly covers a trip out there every year.

    Yes. Too right. I have been paying that for the last 6 years. Ouch.

    I imagine that some less fortunate on the forum are maybe still paying and some more fortunate that are no longer paying, like myself.

    I seem to recall it did get included in my wife's visa application. Presumably as it affected my disposable net income each month.

    well like i have said the past is the past, some how we men seem to come out of a broken marriage or relationship worst off then the other side,i was burnt twice,but am i better for it yes, not richer but better, i have a beautiful wife and a great dream also

    Didn't cause me any stress as I kept the Girls. I miss those CSA payments but not for the money .

    Piece of cake Lastlid they were 16 and 14 at the time. Managed to get an arrangement at work for fixed shifts for a year to cope initially.
