thats about the rate its been for a very long time, infact i base my exchange rate 66 to the pound in all my calculations
Actually that rate is very close to the inter-bank rate. I doubt there'll be a better exchange rate. Might be a organisation with lower charges though.
we just sent money today on worldremit rate was 65.38,bad tho....

You right Steve, it's been bouncing around that sort of level since May and hasn't gone much above 68 all year.
The trend is definitely creeping down and I just wonder what exchange rate to start using for my calculations too.
I've been using a calculation rate of P50=£1 these past two years and am now considering basing everything around P40
I really believe there needs to be some 'X' factor built in ( kind of safety factor.)
It's looking like my wife has been correct after all. She said we'd better wait another year or so.
If the interbank rate can stay above 60 for the next 12 months I'll be happy.
Mind you, at 50 to the pound, the conversion is a lot easier. I find 70 or 66 to the pound to be a pain in the butt to convert in my head.![]()
thats a good exchange figure terpe 50 to the pound, i may try that for a few times to see if i can get use to that amount
Hi all. Im going back over to the philippines in 2 weeks time to celebrate my fiancee's birthday (hopefully the visa as well). Where is the best place to buy currency as i normally get mine from the bank and its always a low rate?![]()

easy peasy lemon squeezy, get my head to get the calculator out of my pocket and tap away, sorry but i had to say that![]()
when I arrived here in 2011 I stayed at the mactan pension house and I needed to change some money so the g f went next door to a money changer and got 70 pesos for my pound when the rate was 67 work that one out its been down hill ever since then lol its always going to be what the dollar does i guess
why not get the dollar then change to peso as dollar up at moment
we had some hong kong dollars when we landed in manila, and we got a better rate for those then pounds
SM Business Center is giving a good exchange. Atleast P2 higher compared to airport rate.
easy way to work out the conversion steve is to remember 1000 peso is about 15 quid![]()
