Let's hope it doesn't follow current prediction models

It doesn't really matter what prediction models you run, it has to hit landfall somewhere in the northern US, and the size of it means states are already getting hammered.

It's been said that there are other contributary factors that have been built into the models such as timings and tides.
These include such factors as a potential near-record storm surge which when combined with expected high tides on Monday could add even more to the predicted water levels, depending on timing, which in turn could potentiall y exceed flood defenses in Manhattan.

Location, time and tide really will play a role

a few years ago on a holiday in florida we was warned not to travel any further down to the keys as a hurrican was approaching florida, so we stayed near to the palm shores, just a strong wind that we felt no rain but still so warm too

Quite a storm, interesting how it recurved a second time back on its self.
Quite impressed at the thorough preparation and foresight by the authorities there. I doubt you'd see such forward planning in the UK in the same circumstances

Worrying about my step-daughter, who lives in Brooklyn.

    Not heard from her yet.

Last week in her party wig.
