    It's probably a good idea to blank out the numbers - looking at some of the people the UKBA see's fit to employ it wouldn't be long before your financial and personal details are used by a man in Lagos

    Thanks Ded you have confirmed my fears & worries but would this delay the ILR app is my other worry

    Sorry Stevie I wouldn't know about possible delays - my Mrs got hers iirc in 2007 she was here on a work permit and qualified on the then residency period.

    Would it be worth considering using the Settlement Checking Service ?

    Hi Ded I am in fact using the settlement checking service as I think this just makes you feel more assured that you have got everything in order

    Statistics indicate that UKBA processing of ILR that has been through the checking service is faster.
