Sadly... I lost almost half of mine away back in 1971 ... simply because the
dentist I'd been attending at the time kept insisting I had, what he called, an "awkward bite" - whatever that is!
Nowadays, it seems... dentists will fight "tooth & nail" to preserve their patients' teeth and, according to my present practitioner, those I have left (mainly BIG BACK ones) are still in reasonable condition more than four decades later.
