iphone problem :(

hi everyone

good morning!!

I have a problem about the iphone 3g of my husband.. he gave this to me since he doesn't like iphone anymore.
The phone is still working the battery is super good. It said ''no sim insert a valid sim with no PIN lock to activate the iPhone'' so I inserted a sim card on it doesn't work or read the sim card and I have tried all the sim card and still the same :(

please help guys..

Probably have to find someone to jailbreak it, so at it can accept any sim. There are plenty of places in Cebu City where you can get that done.
