I just love mung beans, especially when beansprouts are added.
The taste is wonderful.

I also love batchoy

It's interesting how such a hot country as Philippines developed these hot heartwarming and filling soupy dishes. Much more at home here in cold miserable UK

A lot of the recipes use different veggies, so I used some of those that always seem to be in the recipes and choose other ones myself:




Other times I've used Gabi, raddish, eggplant and snake beans but found they take longer to cook than french beans!

wooowww SEB... I love the versatility of your sinigang looking so tasty and colourful....next time i will try to put some zucchini or courgette in my own sinigang..thanks ..

Oh I forgot to mention that I decided to add some celery too.

I meant just the snake beans took longer to cook, not the other veggies.

Trouble is the more different veggies you add, the more volume it makes!
