here is one for the ladies, since being here in the uk has anyone had there hair coloured, if so is it anymore differant in price, is it best to do the colour yourself or at a hairdresser,

Did mention having her hair coloured but she asked for my opinion & I truthfully replied that Filipinas have beautifull jet black hair why on earth would you even think about dying it just my honest opinion

i love Ems colour too, there is the odd white hair showing thats why she wants it coloured, will be the same colour

My wife had a light tint of red put in her hair when she had it rebonded back in the Philippines over a year ago. Her hair goes down to her butt. It looked really good. But she wont have it done here. So she will have it done when she goes back to the Philippines next.

done that before stevie, but with all that hair it made me knacked, rubbing and all that stuff, we shall see what to do its her birthday so may treat her

well we are not going till xmas next year so looks like i will have to get something done here, i have started to look around, a price at the hairdreser is around £55

That's about right for colouring here Steve.... Rebonding where I live is about &120 to £140

Well, my wife explains that she prefers it to be rebonded by Filipino Gays! Thats her reason.

I tried colouring my hair myself last August..and after just a few weeks, it already faded..not sure if it's just I don't know how to colour it the right way (I used the John Freida foam hair color which is easy to apply) or it really doesn't lasts that long. It supposed to be permanent as it says on the box. Whenever I go for a hair rebond with cellophane after (this is hair colouring too) when I was in the Philippines, color stays for 6 months or so, well of course regrowth would be original colour. But when I did colour my hair myself here in the UK, colour fades and you won't distinguished the regrowth ones. So next time I'm gonna try to do it via the salon. Kinda expensive though.

before i came here i had hair color and rebond and been a year now, and really dying to have it again however i am hesitant because of the costs
I told my husband I can wait 'till I will be back to the Phil's, so at the moment a trim will do,

love this hair color on me, my husband said it complements my skin color. at first it gives off a dark brown color look (since i have a natural black hair) but then after few months it turns to a very lovely light brown color (as you can see on the picture) which i was looking for! it's available in boots or superdrug and its only £5.99!. definitely worth a try ladies!

this is my current hair color. i chose this color because i wanted to try something different. on the picture its slightly darker brown which is nice. it just gives off a 'natural brown' color to my hair which is lovely. i bought it in boots and it's currently £5 at the moment but the original price is £7.50 so hurry! grab it while it's still on sale!

just to let you know guys, i dye my own hair at home, it's really easy and affordable.z you dont need to go to salon and spend £100. right? there are a lot of wide ranges of do-it-yourself hair coloring products in the high street but i highly recommend those two

My Charie had some highlights put in a while back, but to be honest I prefer her to have her natural jet black colour. Boot polish is a cheap option, but the pillows on the bed tend to need daily washing.

Some women loves to color their black hair to different color, mine love it black.. but times goes it go back again to normal color. It's cheap when you do it by yourself but for a good result rather go to the expert.

Same as my wifes. There is naturally a small tint of red in it anyway, when it is sunny you can see it. Her hair isn't absolutely 100% black.

Just remember Steve, in Philippines they use a lot of chemicals in the hair products that are banned in europe, no Health & Safety!

The salon I usually go to in the Philippines (First Aid/Fix Salon in Greenbelt 3 Makati), they use L'Oreal and Kerastase products..same as the ones sold here in the UK.

Well I suppose if you do get your hair done here at a reputable hairdresser, it's got to be cheaper than going all the way to the Philippines!

I havent and wouldnt try colouring my hair. I have a short black hair and Im avery happy with it (apart from my hairfall problem ).

When I went to the village's hairdresser for a cut/style and blowdry, I was shocked on how dear it was. I paid 32 odd quid!! Enormous amount of money for less than 20 minutes job.
