i use iremit,, their conversion today is £65.30 and they only charge £5 even if u send up to £1000.
we use bpi. Transfer money online to an account.

I am also with BPI , it is secure as i got accounts in PH and in UK ,happy with the exchange rate and just a £5 charge.

Internet banking to PNB £5 charge any amount, At this moment 65.25
were using PNB as well..
Western Union are a pain in the ..... Registered two bank accounts and it still won't let me send any money
i use the global pinoy card for my parents via pnb.
all i needed was a bank account (any bank), show them proof of address and i was up and going. they sent my parents an atm card where i can load money up and they can get it after a day. remittance fee is £5.50 and they have pretty good exchange rate as well.
iremit is only £4 if you are a TFC subscriber, 66.50 todays rate, I think they do the first one for free as well.
Can I ask which in your opinion is the best bank in phils? I want to open a account there. I an with hsbc over here but there is no branch where my wife lives.
Just used western union to send some money and the exchange rate is 66.5623 with no transaction charge to the Philippines at the moment. I think that's quite good.
Send some cash to Davao using BPI the weekend, 66.85 per £ was the rate and a fiver for the fee.
That's a really great promo deal from WU as support due to the typhoon.
I doubt anyone can find a better deal anywhere.
