Thanks everyone. We handed the D1 form in at the DVLA office in Oxford where they checked it and took payment. No issue with the dates/timeframe. Btw, they only kept Rose's BRP, not her passport, the DVLA office lady said they didn't need the passport. They sent everything to Swansea last Monday. Fingers crossed we get a present in the post at the end of this week.
Now I need to buy her some wheels, Rose wants to get an auto licence. I have a 5 series BMW which is auto but it is a little big, and the TVR is a manual (luckily). We're hunting for a Smart car to keep insurance down to help her build up a NCB record (and help with parallel parking
