    not sure if this will work abroad - it is awkward to use and get used too

    I use the TV catchup app on my ipad, and have Apple TV, so it streams directly through the TV.

    I use Strong VPN to route through the UK.

    BBC iPlayer also streams via AirPlay to the Apple TV.
