One reason I went back to the Philippines after staying just for 6 months in Singapore..well each to their own I mean, but I cannot work in an environment where it makes me take my work at home all the time as I've been told to work myoff 200% all the time..I wasn't happy the whole time I stayed there..I lost a lot of weight, been sick most of the time but still go to work anyway. I work hard but I can't lose my life just because of work.

Last time I was there I was 7 years old...so not much work to worry about, other than learning to read and write.

My sis-in law is pit manager at one of the biggest resort casino`s and is managing to put her daughters through a good montessori school on her wages, plus she returns home monthly. Its a sacrifice for her to work there, but at least it`s safe and she appreciates the opportunity, but although she has been there 2 to 3 years her contract can be terminated anytime, so it seems working conditions are stressful.
