Are you in the UK? Try searching for online jobsites for UK in Google. I found a lot of job openings for IT people, but mostly located in London..Also, go to your local Job Centre and ask for job possibilities. I was an IT consultant (QA/Test Analyst) when I was in the Philippines.

You are not allowed to look for or work when you are a visitor

As Steve has stated that would be illegal for both you and anyone who employed you.

Don't forget that as part of your visit visa application you made a signed declaration that you would NOT seek any employment. Period.
Do understand that includes UNPAID work also. So be very careful.

I hope our weather will improve during your stay here so you can enjoy some outdoor fun.

PS: You should surely have more respect for the family you are visiting

not only that if customs search your case and find your cv or papers concerning employment they might refuse you entry because they may suspect your here to work

So sad to know that it is so difficult to find an IT job here in London. Though there are thousands of job postings online but the truth is, for some ads, the post has already been filled up before you know it. It's been 2 months now and I still havent got anything yet. I've sent almost 200 applications to numerous sites online. Hope someone can help me find a job. Salamat po.
