We all saw it coming. They need to team up with UKIP to get out of the mess they are making.

Well farage and cameron are not very friendly.
Backpedalling again? Just part of the grovell. What a come down licking farages to stay in power..
They make you laugh.
could it be a case or all the parties are in 1 party, that will be interesting
This is so typical of modern ay politics though. Cameron knows that the best he can hope for at the next election is another hung parliament with possibly UKIP replacing the Liberals as the third party. Time to start thinking about dumping Nick and get friendly with good old Nige even if you think he's a loon.
Principled Politicians is a thing of the past.
I couldn't put my faith in Nige as long as my wife is waiting for ILR and even citizenship. UKIP are an unknown quantity and what little we know doesn't sound great for our Filipina wives and fiancees that are yet to arrive in the UK.
If UKIP expressly listed settlement visas as an exception to their 5 year freeze then I might feel a tiny bit happier. Currently what is most worrying is what they aren't saying as much as what they are saying.
Well not a problem for me as well because neither will get my vote
I see Nige is already saying Dave has to go in order for a pact

None will get my vote.
Yes I saw that. We will find out who gives way.
There's a saying, if it swims like a duck, waddles like a duck, quacks like a duck - there can be little doubt what sort of aquatic bird it is.
What do you deep down, honestly feel the UKIP is really thinking?
Do you really think the UKIP or it's core support would like anyone who is not married to a UK citizen bringing their partner here? Seriously?
Everyone must draw their own conclusions. I've no idea
Ukip aren't surfing a wave: they're standing in a rockpool, watching the tide go out

That's the way things "just are" in the UK though. Nationalist parties in some parts of Scotland and Wales aside, the UK has two parties, and no other new party has ever been able to get support.
The only time anything close to this has happened, is when the Labour party was formed, they all but replaced the Whig/Liberal party. This however was very much a special case, as there wasn't a full-on left wing party at the time, and Labour was a radical thing. This though was back in the 1920's.
Maybe if PR was ever introduced, this would change.
The elite's fear of a vote on Europe feeds a populist right
