That is the problem Ded. All tarred with the same brush. I think most of these petitions (but not this one) is on behalf of like you say the Indian subcontinent.

Exactly that Andy. UK Immigration policy doesn't distinguish between Filipina wives / fiancees on the one hand and Indian subcontinent wives / fiancees on the other. I don't see that it ever will unless the next government all have filipina wives / fiancees.

Interesting that Dedworth has abstained so not to increase the chances of immigration from the Indian subcontinent, as his is a potential name on the petition list that might help Filipina wives and fiancees in the future.
