Waiting Time...

hello everyone...

im just new here, Can somebody help me,about the processing time for spouse visa here in philippines. Its been 7 weeks waiting now, since i submitted my application last october, and still the vfs global said it was still in process when i track my application...what is the maximum time i have to wait?.. because its nearly December and want to join my husband in Christmas..

For some reason they are taking as long as I can remember, in the last year. But according to the UKBAs own statistics, it is commonly taking up to 3 months now.

According to the timetables in the link provided above, the AVERAGE processing periods for Settlement Visas currently lie somewhere between 90 and 120 days ... this being a fairly reliable approximation.

Hi Mrs H welocme to the forum there is a lot of good advice here from the members so stick around and any concerns you have just ask, we are a friendly bunch here.

As to your question there does seem to be a backlog of visa decisions maybe because of new rules brought in from July 9 2012, I have seen here typical visa decisions taking around 8 weeks or more at the moment so just be positive I am sure you will get some good news soon god bless.
