Hi, thanks for the offer, but if there are loads of brits there - i want to go somewhere else. I like to eat simple foods with local people and feel the real culture. I know these brits will not be like the `Spain` british, but i still like to meet local people in traditional surroundings.
Hello i just wanna give a suggestion, if you don't want a busy place i don't think Cebu is the right place for you to mend your broken heart I don't mean to be rude to the Cebuanos here ok?? but a lot of tourist that i saw in Cebu when i went there. It the next busiest City to Manila..if i were you try to check the site of Dept of tourism.
Pagudpud in Ilocos is highly recommended, its just 3 hrs drive in from Manila, such a nice and quiet place!! Good luck!!
Thanks, i am not really looking for quiet. Drop me in the middle of a crouded (locals only) market place and i am a happy bunny
Go to Jolo Island, not many Westerners there. In fact if you find one, you can probably help them escape and become a hero

you can go to bohol or paradise island in davao or camiguin island.tonet is right cebu is second to manila and its the oldest city in philippines.you can try to stop a few days in singapore too. you can try loads of food and its cheap too. but don't go to remote areas in philippines for safety reasons.i think this time of year is less tourist coming to philippines because its the rainy season and less activities that attract tourist.

Ping
