Council uses thermal-imaging to tackle illegally housed migrant workers

Labour-controlled Slough Borough Council is using the devices to tackle what it regards as rogue landlords who are putting workers in substandard accommodation often with little or no heating.

Too little too late as usual.

If my ing TV aerial was facing the wrong direction or I put a tin can in with the garden waste no doubt some little jobsworth would soon be round to take me to court.

Slough, Hayes, Hounslow etc are awash with these illegal dwellings all it needs in most cases is for an inspector to get down the back doubles etc - they should torch them while the illegals are out illegally working

    Human rights mate.

Only illegals and asylum seekers have those of course.

The rest of us can just be turfed out of our houses and told to sleep in the gutter until our name comes up on the homeless housing list in 40 years time...regardless of the fact that we were born here and may have been paying taxes and national insurance for the previous 40.
