Under this catagory, you will not be able to apply for a dependant visa. The UKBA states that you will need to appy for a general visist visa.

    http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/vi...rs/dependants/

This page explains whether you can bring your family members (known as 'dependants') to the UK if you are in the UK or planning to come to the UK as a domestic worker.
You cannot include any dependants in your application. If they want to join you, they must apply separately, for example as general visitors, and meet the requirements of that category.
If any members of your family are in the UK with you, and wish to extend their stay, they must apply separately to extend their stay in the category in which they came here.
Their applications will be considered separately to yours. We cannot guarantee that all applications will be successful or that you will all be given permission to enter or remain for the same length of time.

See this link for requirements for visitor visa. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/vi...iting/general/

Thanks Rusty...but under the old rules before 06th April 2012 which my wife visa included..those under Domestic Worker visa can get their dependent partner or child under 18 yrs old to join with them provided that the requirements are met. The rules you have mentioned above are the rule on ODW visa implemented by Home Office to those applied after 06 April 2012..and as per those applied or already in the UK under ODW route are not affected by this new rule and should be treated as per the old rule.
