Assuming she is in fact your wife, and she came to UK on a Fiancee Visa (Marriage only visa) I am assuming as you dont provide very much information, we will have to make assumptions about your situation to answer your question, but lets say we can assume that you are now married, then you need to extend your wifes marriage visa on the basis of Further leave to remain.

You need to contact the Home Office on their website and download the appropriate forms to do this, the only evidence you require for FLR on marriage, is naturally, the marriage certificate duly authenticated by the civil registrar in your home city, and an completed application form, FLR(M) which you may download here

    http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/ind/en/ho...LR_M%20Form.pdf

You need to download the form and the notes from this link, then note the Fee of £365.00 applications that were posted in Setpember are currently being processed, your completed application needs to be sent here:

    Initial Consideration Unit - FLR(M)
    Immigration and Nationality Directorate
    PO Box 3615
    Walsall Road
    Cannock
    WS11 OWS

But this information is clearly presented on the Form from the Home Office, as far as documentation is concerned,

Read the Guidance Notes for Spouses of Someone Presently settled in the UK

Should you follow the guidance notes and have all the required information to hand, send in your application with supporting documents and your wife will then receive her passport back with a further leave to remain stamp in it, extending her stay to 24 months.

At the end of this time, you may then apply for your wife to recieve Indefinate leave to Remain.

    Hope this helps

Seems there is going to be a slight change in the FLR application procedure from 22 June 2006; the new form can be downloaded from here.

No major changes that I can see, just the following:

    (1) It includes civil partners and same-sex unmarried partners.
    (2) Forms are sent to Durham instead of Cannock.
    (3) The fee is still £335 for postal applications.
    (4) Need to provide card security number if paying by card.
    (5) Precise details of the format of photos.
    (6) Change in procedure if you need to get your passport/docs back urgently. Also, "Your application will be treated as withdrawn if your passport is returned for travel abroad before your application can be decided."
    (7) Opening hours for PEOs have changed.
    (8) Data Protection Notice section no longer has missing text!
    (9) Need to provide applicant's full name and surname.
    (10) Personal History section replaces Additional Questions section, and now relates to applicant and dependants.
    (11) A note that information from the form may be passed to the police.
