I had a mince pie on the 1st December, was actually given to my son by the cashier in a shop, but he didnt like it, so I munched it. Christmas seems to be in full swing here, with the malls, shops, restaurants and hotels all decorated and Christmas food as far as you can see. Although some of the imported Selection Boxes are around a tenner each...

I'm going to have a go at making mince pies for the first time ever this year, wish me luck!
