Too many migrants will push up house prices, Theresa May warns

I blame the migrants for the bad weather

Theresa May today warned that mass immigration could prompt a new leap in house prices as she delivered a robust defence of the Government’s border policies.

I thought most of them were going straight to the top of the council housing list...or living in illegal sheds in back yards ?

Only honest mugs need to try to BUY a house.

    Exactly!!
The thing is that the UK`s housing market should have had a huge correction by now but something is keeping prices up..100`s of thousands of poor European immigrants?
    I just dont get it.

    Buy-to-lets...financed by Housing Benefit ?

I had friends who got in on that money-maker donkeys years ago.

One of them, an electrician, owned 12 at the age of 24.

Mostly comfortably rich and 'retired' now, still pocketing the cash and with equity in the millions.

If I hadn't off to the Phils, would probably be doing the same.
