Let's hope this generates maximum publicity in the Phils so no more Filipinas are tempted to go to these scum countries.
I've also noticed lots of muslim guys befriending Filipinas on facebook and the dating sites.
Presumably hoping to either live out some fantasies or recruit some poor naive woman (or should that be 'chattel') into this primitive religion.
Even my 13 year-old niece is plagued by these scumbags making obscene comments on her facebook photos....which as with most Filipinos, seem to be open to public view.![]()
We all know the reasons behind the OFW.

I don't know if it still happens, but it always got stamped in new passports not valid for travel to Iraq. Even so, thousands of domestic workers and nurses headed out to Iraq by hook or by crook and whichever route they could find.
Just doesn't make sense to me.
Is it real desperation plain and simple
Maybe they're being conned/misled by the agencies.
There are still plenty of alternative (civilised) countries to work in.
Yemen must be pretty much at the bottom of the barrel.
