The latest product that may come from the Cupertino-based firm may be a wearable iOS device, MobileGeeks.com reported
MobileGeeks.com cited reports on Chinese site Tech.163 that Apple is interested in a smart watch Intel had previously developed.
"The device in question has a 1.5 OLED display with indium tin oxide, or ITO coated glass," it said.
It added the device may be launched as early as in the first half of 2013.
MobileGeeks.com said Apple is in a position to make such a device popular, given its experience with iPod Nano.
However, it said Apple would not be the first company to release a smart watch, with Sony having released such a device that received "mixed reviews."
A separate article on BusinessInsider.com noted consumers have already expressed interest in an iOS-enabled watch
