... personally, I mourn the "good old days" of 'The White Heather Club', hosted - as always - by the since, sadly~deceased Andy Stewart; also featuring the likes of:- Duncan Macrae, Roddy McMillan John Grieve, Ricky Fulton and other late greats (to name but a few) ... accompanied by Jimmy Shand and his Scottish Country Dance Band.

I've only celebrated one Hogmanay in Scotland Arthur, and that was in Aviemore.

A good time was had by all...though I can't actually remember going back to the hotel ...where it seemed there was an extra (female) person in my bed the next morning,

along with my huge hangover.
