It's truly sad, so terribly sad to read these links. None of us (as far as I'm aware) knew this poor girl ... but that needn't stop members here - who happen to have since become aware of her passing - from extending their heartfelt sympathy to the grieving family through their thoughts and/or prayers.

    May she rest in peace.

    Steve,

Your spelling, grammar or whatever it is called is NOT your fault. Mine is even worse
Some people don't seem to understand that as much as we try there isn't much we can do to change it.
Ive met people who are supposedly intelligent because of there academic skills and they are not capable of doing some basic skills!
Good on you for seeing the funny side and Graham for standing up for us dummies!!

There is something that I can do about my atrocious spelling!! I always set my browser on auto correct..After typing a post there is usually 3 or 4 red lines under badly spelled words.. A quick right click and select makes me look reasonably literate every time!
Now I wonder who else will own up to overusing this wonderful browser feature?

It works for my spelling but not the grammar. Is it called grammar

Guess the point i was trying to make is some us cant differentiate ( thanks auto browser ) between similar sounding words and its not due to laziness or a bad education.

We spent a number of months travelling the lovely islands and our short list of places to live was Iloilo, Bacolod, Dumaguete, Puerta Princessa, Bohol, Cagayan De Oro. Purchase costs are increasing at a rapid rate and with the exchange rate unfavourable I want to buy a sub division plot so at least we have something 'banked' for the future.

I am currently looking at an Ayala development near Bacolod 'North Point'

I was wondering if anyone in the UK has a plot for sale in the Philippines ?? the advantage would be that I can pay in £ . Of course clean title etc would be required.

If anyone has any advice/comments as to buying a sub division plot, it would be appreciated

    Happy New Year

Hello Steve, happy new year to you too!
i just sharing i am looking a plot in Bohol cost 400 per sq.m. size 172.83 sq. m. its good price, since the place its very nice closer to the highway. then from the highway you walk 10 minutes, then you seeing a ladder.this ladder is a way to sea. good to built a cottage type house.

I do admit to putting red underlined words into google now and again. Actually, my spelling has got worse over the years although my grammar and punctuation usually lets me down more. To this day I still don't know what a semi-colon is meant for.

when we purchase this plot in bohol. maybe after 3 years we start building. good to spend time vacation. the atmosphere very nice.. if the other plot owned by old lady and we interested also this plot, now i am dealing her plot in bohol, If she sell for me only 400 sq.m or 500 sq.m we would be happy, but she selling for us overprice. i cant bit it. she wish to sell her plot 800-1,000 per sq.m. its to expensive for me.. i just learning to dealing like this situation you must be wiser and clever.

yeah i will do steve. you must be hurry now. for sure you can still purchase a cheaper, a lot here still cheap, i only suggest not good to buy in subdivision houses, much better buy plot then built, the material use in subdivision not good quality. just a little earthquake the wall cracking.

i had an experience about this. then they sell very very expensive.

1 hour away its ok as long as its a quite place and good location its not bother. the important is a place not to much crowded and noise with buses, vehicles not good at night. we will see then, as long as i like the location we purchase 2 plot. good to built there and spent time vacation i will not no doubt with this..
