Hard to show affection

My wife what can I say probably one of the most gentle, beautiful women I have ever met and god do I love her so much.

Just to everyone on this forum my wife finds it hard to show affection sometimes and she constantly apologises when this happens saying that she will try to be more affectionate in the future.

I dont have any problems with that as I was her first serious relationship then husband and I knew from the start of our relationship that she was a very shy, very religious and very family orientated girl as filipinas are.

I am always the one to initiate things between us and a lot of times she is responsive then other times not so, I have known her 15 months but have only physically been with her for a total of nearly 8 weeks so still bonding.

Just a question to the forum where any of you guys have been in the same situation or any advice would be good and is this normal behaviour ie do I need to worry sorry everyone for being over dramatic cheers...

Not been my experience.

All the Filipinas I've been in any way involved with have been 'HOT'.

...Not that I would wish to stereotype them in any way.

Seriously though, I'm suprised, as you are married after all.

Maybe there is some underlying issue that needs to be sensitively brought out.

Where is your wife from in the Philippines? Have found over the years that women sometimes act differently depending on what region they are from.
I think that it is perfectly normal for her to be that way especially as you have only been having a intimate relationship for a couple of months and you have already said she is shy.
Stop worrying about it and enjoy your time together
I have been married to my wife for 17 years and she is not always the most affectionate person. Can feel some jokes coming on so i'd better leave this post
