Greek police have stepped up efforts to catch illegal immigrants in recent months, launching a new operation to check the papers of people who look foreign. But tourists have also been picked up in the sweeps - and at least two have been badly beaten.

This is the sort of country we are in cohorts with and contributing money to as fellow EU members.

Time to get out, despite the interfering in our affairs this past day or two by the US.

What kind of fools are running their country, considering how important a part of their economy tourism is ?
