    Applying soon for my ILR!

Hi Guys just hope everyone is Ok! My 2 year settlement visa expired on Feb 17, 2013 and I just called the settlement checking visa today to book an appointment for my ILR and they are really busy and fully book then finally got an appointment for Feb 12, 2013 is that good? The man said that I should have plenty of time as long as it doesn't reach the expiry date Really I wanted to do it for next week Wed but they fully book. Any comment thanks guys

check other councils around your area within say a 20 mile radius to see if they have an opening, you are still within your dates so that should not be a problem, if you have all your papers and know its all ok why dont you just post everything off

Thats interesting, the question is, does it matter if you have changed address during the first two years before applying for ILR? The reason I ask is because our landlord has got a two bedroom house that she has offered us, it's much better than the apartment were in, because it has a lounge and a garden also garage and its only fifty yards away from where we are now and its on the same lane, so only the Number will change. Will this be ok Peter??

of course you can move, but remember you need letters\bills etc addressed to you and your wife when you come to apply for ILR

has your wife ever received a letter from UKBA while in the UK?, if so it should be on that

i'm sure because of the type of visa your wife has, there is no need to inform them that you've moved. common sense but dont move if your about to apply for a visa or just have .

Won't be applying for ILR for a long time yet, just needed the home office reference No. because it is requested when filling in the change of address section on ukba site. We will be moving end of April if all goes well. We will take your advice Joe and notify them when we apply for ILR. Thank's so much for your advice once again!!

to Joeblog I arrived Uk November 28 2010 with 2 years settlement visa it will expired on the 17 Feb this year Its should be ok as long as I apply before the expiry date. I book and pay my appointment for settlement checking service today for Feb 12 as that the earliest I can do and also in here (preston) they only do once a week for this service and I did not realise that it will take 3 hours as well oh my god never mind. My question is, Is anyone in here do the same process like mine and will they do the Biometric there as well? I have no idea where and when to do that? thanks guys x
