Hi!guys, good dayI have a question: Do I need a medical when I apply for my Visa to come to the UK? Thanks and God bless!
Unless there have been any Changes recently, there were no medical requirements 9 months ago!!
I am not aware of a requirement for medical examination.
There will be a pre-entry tuberculosis ( TB ) screening programme for applicants wishing to come to the UK, involving 67 “ high incidence “ countries including the Philippines.
The new procedure means if you are applying for a UK visa from the Philippines for 6 months or more, you must be screened before you apply - but not for tourists, business visitors or other visitors, going for less than 6 months.
The programme has NOT yet been implemented – although it may do so during 2013.

Hi!guys, good day to all of you..I have a question again:since I was living here in Cagayan de Oro City, where hospital I need to go to have that TB screening?can I do it here in our city or there some hospital that inquired to do that? I was just a little confused..can you help me guys to understand how to have that TB screening? Thanks and God bless.
I don't think there is a UKBA list of accredited clinic or hospital where you should get your TB screening. Just go to a licensed clinic or hospital.
I was not asked for it in the airport immigration when I arrived here last 3Q of 2012. But my two friends were asked to provide TB test results. After a few months, they received a letter from NHS to get another TB screening.
Babygirl, which UK airport do you think you will arrive to ?
When ?
As it stands today, there is no requirement for any medical or for TB screening.
If you wish to bring a chest X-ray that's solely a personal decision.
Hi Babygirl777, reading someone's post this morning reminded me of your question. I don't know if you already submitted your application but if you haven't until Feb. 28, read this: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/co...?langname=null
Please also look at this post, which gives advice and links to UKBA site :-

Of course, we need to apply for a medical certificate, while applying for visa. As it is most important in some cases. Because, person with some specific diseases or health probs could not even allow to travel through an airline.
hi babygirl,we need to undergo tb screening and theres only one clinic accredited to do the test, its in makati here in manila.
